The Joint Apprenticeship Committee for the Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers of Southern California is comprised of the Western Insulation Contractors Association and Officers of Union Local 5.
As Trustees, we are duty bound to place the Apprentice in the forefront of the decisions we make for the betterment of their welfare and our industry. We promote the registration, development and completion of a 4 year college accredited apprenticeship program in conjunction with on-the-job training, which provides labor for Union Contractors in over 12 Southern California counties that Local 5 serves with its quality trained and highly skilled apprenticeship workers.
This statement is further amplified through our Apprenticeship Standardsand Trust Fund Agreement functions of the Joint Apprenticeship Trust Committee.
